Implants are used to replace everything from teeth to hips. They are often important to allow people to function normally after an accident or illness has taken away their normal function. These days, implants are becoming better designed than in the past.
One implant that I have been impressed by is the dental implant called the BioImplant that can be put in immediately after a tooth extraction. [1] The implant is designed by a computer CAD software to fit exactly where the teeth was pulled out. As a result, the dentist only pushes it in.
